Document management: DocuShare provides full document management functions including check-in/check-out, version control, custom metadata, document-level access control, audit/event logging, change notifications, format conversions, email integration and more.

Collaboration: DocuShare supports project teams and workgroups through Web-based collaborative spaces, project groups, document routing and more.

Search and index: DocuShare includes the best-of-breed Autonomy (formerly Verity) enterprise search engine. All documents are automatically indexed with automatic metadata capture. Content can be searched across multiple servers and can be converted from over 200 formats for web viewing without the native application.

Workflow:DocuShare includes a workflow application based on the familiar “routing slip” that enables any user to distribute documents for review and approval or other business activities. Workflows can be extended or modified simply and easily without IT involvement.

Image capture: DocuShare is integrated with Xerox office products and provides direct scan to DocuShare. Optional production scanning products can be used for high-volume environments.

Records Management: The optional Xerox DocuShare Records Manager enables users to classify and declare records within the DocuShare environment for compliance and security.

Web content publishing: With DocuShare you can quickly and automatically disseminate information to the corporate intranet, or to external websites with security applied selectively to content as needed. “Guest” access allows access to public information. DocuShare is US Government 508c compliant.
