NXAR named Premier Reseller by Xerox Corporation

Moffett Field, CA., November 20, 2006. NXAR LLC today was named a Premier Reseller by the DocuShare Business Unit of Xerox Corporation. Under this agreement, NXAR will resell DocuShare and DocuShare CPX, along with NXAR developed applications and service and support for these products.

NXAR has extensive experience with DocuShare CPX and has developed customer applications, such as the Anomaly Consequence Evaluation System (ACES) for NASA Ames Research Center. NXAR also developed N1, a new application for DocuShare CPX that lets users assemble new documents from paragraphs or sections of previously created documents.

NXAR will offer Xerox software products for installation at the customer site, or for the exclusive use of customers on NXAR servers in the NXAR hosting facility in Fremont CA.

NXAR and NASA reach licensing agreement

Moffett Field, CA, October 4, 2006. NXAR LLC today announced today that it had completed a licensing agreement with NASA for powerful applications software that is used to manage large programs within the agency.

The agreement includes NASA's Program Management Tool (PMT) and NETMARK software. PMT is a web-based application to manage programs on the basis of earned value - which manages actual results, not just time and resources. PMT uses a standard spreadsheet for the user interface which reduces barriers to user adoption and provides more flexibility to meet the specific requirements of a particular project team.

NETMARK is an XML framework that works in conjunction with a commercial Object-relational database to efficiently store and retrieve semi-structured content from common office documents. NETMARK is the key technology that enables re-use of information contained in applications such as Microsoft Word or Excel. NETMARK provides the enterprise back-end for the PMT application.

NXAR is incorporating NASA technologies into applications and services to solve difficult content and document-driven business processes. NXAR provides these applications and services along with industry leading enterprise content management (ECM) platforms. NXAR is a certified reseller for Xerox DocuShare and DocuShare CPX.

NXAR awarded contract for ACES software development

NASA Ames Research Center, January 23, 2006. NXAR LLC was awarded a subcontract through QSS Group to develop a prototype software system for anomaly consequence evaluation and mitigation. The "ACES" system is to be developed on the NX platform deployed at NASA Ames Research Center.

The goal of the prototype is to support critical activities to determine, diagnose and resolve incidents and anomalies that arise during the course of a NASA mission. ACES is designed to support guided information entry and systematic evaluation, reporting for decision-making and situation awareness, search and retrieval across events for future anomaly resolution. It is further designed to support trending, tracking team member action items, and access to appropriate content for local and remote team members.

Developed at NXAR, located at the NASA Research Park, the prototype is to be deployed on NASA servers on the Ames Research Center campus.
